An evening hay ride

On Monday night, the boys and I went to the Pumpkin Patch on Sauvies Island for a family night our church was hosting out there. They boys always have fun at pumpkin patches and outdoor activities, so of course they enjoyed it.
Like I said in my last post, we have enjoyed a beautiful, fantistic fall. The sky was blue and clear when we arrived and then we so a great sunset and the stars more visible out there when it got dark. (I forgot to bring a astronomy chart so we could identify the stars)
Here are some photos from the night.

On a personal note, I finally got my eyebrows waxed yesturday and I love them. The picture of me was taken before the wax, but my new bangs are visible. I think the nice bangs and waxed eyebrows transform me from the tired mom look to a bit more polished look.

That sounds like so much fun! Great pictures. I have only had my eyebrows done one time. Scared me to death when she pulled the wax off. I usually tweeze them myself. hehehe

We do have pumpkin patches here. It is only in the last 10 years or so we have pumpkins.

Growing up we made do with turnips - so HARD!

Lovely pics.

Good for you for taking time to make yourself the best you can be Michelle. There is a saying I like - "if Mamma ain't happy, ain't NOBODY happy." Being your best will reflect in your attitude to your family. Don't look at it as 'spoiling' yourself, its an investment.

Thank you for sharing!

gosh ur lucky. Fall fest are a nightmare for me and my three preschoolers who were 3 toddlers the years before. Its so hard to chase down 3 kiddos in a crowd at night. I have sworn them off I tell ya! I am glad u can enjoy them though!
