loose tooth

Christian has his first loose tooth which is exciting. The bad news is that when I looked in his mouth yesturday, I saw that his adult tooth is already growing in. I googled this and found out that when this happens they have to pull out a couple of the baby teeth to make room for the adult teeth to grow in correctly. The baby teeth rarely fall out on their own. Christian is not a big fan of doctors and procedures so I know he will not handle this well. Kaiser has a pediatric dentist and we will get them in here. Maybe they play DVDs and distract them enough that the kids don't know what is happening. It will be fun trying to get him to the dentist again after he gets his teeth pulled.
Here are a couple of layouts...

Love your iboys layout - really, it is great! That would make a fun piece of art for their room(s).

We have gone to a pediatric dentist before - we still would be, if it were covered by our insurance anymore. Ours was really great, and I used to say, if he would take me as a patient, I would go there. The atmosphere is just a lot less scary there!

Thanks for visiting my blog today!

Good luck with the tooth, I know how you feel... my DD's terrified of doctors, she gets upset if mommy or daddy have to go just for a regular checkup. Beautiful layouts, love the iboys... it's so cool! Have a great day!

my son's teeth are like that! They usually start growing in before the baby tooth falls out!

I had the same thing happen with my bottom front baby teeth. Those were the only ones though. I do remember having to go to the dentist to get those pulled, but not having to go again. I'm not ready for the loose tooth phase. Those toothless grins (once they have all their teeth) are just more grown up than I'm willing to admit that my kids are. That, and half baby/half grown-up teeth is the official beginning of the "awkward" stage!
